Greenwich Water Club Squash - Greenwich CT

On Friday night November 1, 2019 the Greenwich Water Club celebrated the Grand Opening of its new “best-in-class” Greenwich Water Club Squash House.

On hand to commemorate the Grand Opening event were friends and members of the Greenwich Water Club as well as squash players and fans from around the area. After opening remarks, the ceremonial ribbon cutting was performed by Brian Luby, Beacon Point Marine, Boat Sales Manager, Rick Kral, owner of the Greenwich Water Club, Phil Barker, the new Director of Squash, and Mike Wieneke, Director, Programs & Member Services at the Greenwich Water Club.

Attendees were free to tour the new facility, demo equipment from Technifibre and Ria Eyeware and enjoy some first class squash play as Greenwich’s own Chris Hanson (US #1 ranked squash player) took the court with SQUASH:ED’s Jaymie Haycocks for a great exhibition match after the ceremony.
