German International School New York (GISNY) - Inspiring Academic Excellence. Developing Global Citizens. Opening A World Of Opportunities.

GISNY is the only school in the tri-state area accredited to offer the New York State High School Diploma and the German International Abitur (DIA). The DIA is an internationally acclaimed college preparatory curriculum that provides an academically rigorous and culturally rich multilingual education.

The German and American curricula are united in an open, supportive environment that promotes personal growth, independence, and teamwork. Small class sizes allow our teachers to pay close personal attention to each student, thereby helping them to achieve their potential and encouraging them to develop into curious, analytical, and conscientious global citizens.

Children entering our Pre-K or Kindergarten classes do not need to speak or understand German. All nationalities are welcome!
