The baby chicks have finally hatched! Grade One students watched on this week as their incubators went from hosting eggs to live baby chicks in the Lower School Science Lab. 🐣 Yesterday, the young Scots had the opportunity to lend a gentle hand and interact with the baby chicks in the classroom. The students have been learning about chicken embryology as part of their Life Cycles PYP Unit of Inquiry and have been incubating the eggs for the past 20 days. We love to see our Scots “chirp up” with excitement! 🐥

Our goal in the Upper School is to prepare our students for success in college and in life.
Our Upper School students benefit from an extensive and academically rigorous array of course offerings. In addition to the Honors Program, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB), we provide opportunities for notable co-curricular offerings such as Design Thinking, Digital Media Arts, and Entrepreneurial Studies bridging subject areas like math, science, and art.
Saint Andrew’s believes that balance in mind, body, and spirit is critical to a healthy and successful education. To that end, we offer a wide range of extracurricular opportunities for Upper School students to explore their passions in the arts, athletics, and various student organizations, clubs, and associations. Through advisory and assembly programming, faculty and outside experts provide mentorship and guidance, delivering a social and emotional learning curriculum that is second to none. Driven by our Director of Wellness, programs, and courses such as Science of Emotion and Psychology of Performance Excellence help students make the transition from late adolescence to early adulthood with the knowledge and tools they need to lead healthy and successful lives.
Our boarders live on a vibrant 81-acre campus, where learning and personal growth are a top priority, and friendships last a lifetime.
We offer a unique student-faculty family program, where new resident students are matched up with a "Faculty Mom" and/or"Faculty Dad" and "Residential Brothers and Sisters."
The centerpiece of the Honor System is the Honor Code, which states: “Honor Above All.”
The Honor Code represents the highest ideals of moral development, integrity, sportsmanship, and achievement, as well as respect for the ideas, work, and property of others. It is designed to teach students how to live their lives honorably and morally to be successful in college and life.
We are quite proud that 85% of the class was admitted to a U.S. college ranked as “Most Competitive” or “Highly Competitive” in the 2018 Barron’s Guide to Colleges.
Over 70 students reported earning more than $12 million in merit-based scholarships from different colleges and universities.
Saint Andrew's is thrilled to be recognized as one of the top private schools in Florida.
Our school seeks students who have demonstrated a strong academic ability, a high degree of motivation, concern for others, and a desire to become a part of our community in Boca Raton. Our school takes pride in our students' cultural diversity, strength of character, and respect for others.
