It’s a familiar sight each year as summer kicks off in Greenwich, Connecticut: The Jim Fixx Memorial Day Run!
And 2022 was no exception, as the 58th Annual Jim Fixx Memorial Day 5K Run took place with over 200 runners hitting their stride on a route taking them down Greenwich Avenue, through streets in Central Greenwich (including Bruce Park) and finishing on the track by Havemeyer Field behind Greenwich Town Hall.

The 2022 Jim Fixx Memorial Day Run drew athletes from nearby locales Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania – plus those from as far away as Kentucky, Tennessee, California, and even Hamburg, Germany.
Cos Cob’s Asher Beck (M 16) finished first overall with a time of 16:34. Greenwich’s Kelly Annunziato (F 34) finished first among women with a time of 21:25.
