Holiday festivities were in full swing this weekend at The Little Enchanted Forest (hosted by the Junior League of Greenwich) at the Greenwich Botanical Center.

This widely attended event offered the favorite elements of the Junior League of Greenwich’s signature event “The Enchanted Forest” which had been a beloved holiday experience for over 40 years.

Attendees were afforded the opportunity to explore a “little forest” of trees decorated for the season by local florists, designers, retailers and individual contributors – which were all made available as part of a silent auction throughout the weekend.

There were hands-on greenhouse wreath workshops where participants were guided through the process of creating festive decorations for their home – and there were a variety of holiday plants and greens made available for sale.

The Holiday Boutique, always a popular attraction, featured craft and specialty vendors selling everything from fine jewelry and home décor, to women’s/men’s/children’s clothing, toys and holiday gifts. Vendors included Seacret Skincare, Molly & Mags, The Gift Source, LLF Studio, Ilyse’s Pieces, Shoes n More, Paper Greats, Enchanted Wishes Designs and more!

There was also a Children’s Giving Shop, serving as a child-centered shopping experience where young children had the opportunity to shop independently for holiday gifts for family members, friends, and teachers from among a a wide assortment of reasonably priced picture frames, candles, note cards, toys, sports items, games, gardening items, jewelry and more! Truly a memorable and fun experience for both the children and the Junior League of Greenwich volunteers who participated!

CELEBRITY SIGHTING: Santa Claus took some time out of his very busy schedule this year to make an appearance at the event, hear holiday wishes, and pose for keepsake photos!
