We may officially be in early fall, but it certainly felt like one of the dog days of summer during Adopt-a-Dog’s annual "Puttin’ on the Dog" pet adoption event (hosted by Pet Pantry Warehouse) in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park this Sunday!
Greenwich was all sunny skies, with temperatures in the upper 70s, as "Puttin' on the Dog" attendees enjoyed adoptable dog (and cat) parades, fun demonstrations, entertaining competitions, a scavenger hunt, food trucks, activities for kids and so much more!
There was even a "Pet Pantry Bone Bar" staffed with tuxedo-clad "Bark Tenders" filling up bags of goodies (including all-natural tasty treats, chews, and cookies) for lucky puppies who happened to be attending the event!
This was the 32nd annual "Puttin’ on the Dog". This popular pet event attracts over 5,000 visitors every year. 2019 "Puttin' On The Dog" Sponsors included: Pet Pantry Warehouse, Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, Serendipity, Webe 108, Earth Animal, H/3 Foundation, Howell Shuster and Goldberg, Carriage House Motor Cars, Veterinary Care Center, Antech Diagnostics, Canine Company, and more.
