The grounds of the Town Hall in Greenwich felt more like a theme park on Sunday, June 9, 2019, as kids of all ages enjoyed the 17th Annual Touch a Truck event presented by the Junior League of Greenwich!

Touch a Truck is an important fundraiser for the Junior League of Greenwich and attracts over 3,000 attendees each year!

This super-fun event featured a fleet of powerful trucks from the Greenwich Department of Public Works and beyond – including firetrucks, police cars, dump trucks, construction vehicles, motorcycles, and ambulances. Photos were taken in driver seats. Horns were honked. And children got to acquaint themselves with all of these mean machines in an up-close-and-personal fashion! As you could very well imagine, there was a surplus of smiles to go around!

Add in bounce houses, a copious amount of bubbles floating through the air (courtesy of the Bubble Bus), live music (including a performance by Jay and Ray), food trucks, an Audubon Animal Show, PLUS shopping for great summer clothing and accessories for women and girls at Jolie Gotique — and it all added up into a perfect day out for the entire family!

A special thanks to our friends from The Whitby SchoolGreenwich Braces, and the Espresso Guys for their ongoing support of this great event!
