This past Saturday friends and neighbors of all ages lined Greenwich Avenue to celebrate Greenwich High School’s Annual Homecoming Parade.
The parade featured members of the cheer squad, dance team, student government, the GHS band and was highlighted by the “Senior Court” featuring Homecoming King & Queen – Jake Mondschein and Carolina Andruss.
After the parade Cardinal Football supporters moved over to Cardinal Stadium for the much anticipated homecoming football game against Stamford’s Westhill High School.
Upon arriving at the stadium patrons were greeted by a student body “white out” (students dressed in white from head to toe!) and treated to terrific performances by the GHS Varsity Cheerleaders, Marching Band, Varsity Dancers and, of course, our fan favorite Greenwich Cardinal mascot!
To cap off a great homecoming day Greenwich defeated Westhill by the score of 50-6 raising their record to 5-0 on the season.
