This past weekend, June 3 & 4, Greenwich played host to the 22nd annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.
We had the opportunity to get over and experience the show for ourselves on Sunday. And I must say – if you've never been it's worth the trip.
For those of you that are not familiar with the Greenwich Concours, it is one of the premier concours (vintage car shows) in the country. It's a unique event (as are so many things “Greenwich”) in that it is two distinct concours back to back - one Saturday and one Sunday.
Saturday’s show featured the “Concours Americana” with a bevy of vintage American cars and motorcycles on display while Sunday’s show, the “Concours International”, was reserved for imported marques.
Both days of the weekend featured a healthy variety of exotic and vintage vehicles. There was something for everyone - from hot rods on Saturday to classic Bugattis on Sunday (and there were even some incredible yachts moored at the Delamar Hotel!).
In addition to all the classics - on both days there were displays of new cars provided by Miller Motorcars (Ferrari, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Bentley), Manhattan Motorcars (Lamborghini, Rimac and Koenigsegg) as well as by some of the more mainstream premium dealers: BMW, Cadillac, Jaguar, land Rover and Tesla to name a few.
So if you like your cars – check ‘em out below and mark your calendar for next year!
