Old Greenwich Sidewalk Sales

Art was in the open air in Old Greenwich last weekend as the 68th Annual Sidewalk Art Show & Sale, hosted by the Art Society of Old Greenwich (ASOG), showcased some of the most creative talent our community (and beyond) has to offer!

In this annual celebration of the arts, there was truly something for everyone. Artworks in a variety of subjects was on display: portraits, florals, still life, nature, animals, landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, and more in a wide range of artistic styles from realistic to abstract. Watercolors. Oils. Acrylics. Drawing. Graphics. Photography. Pastels. Mixed media. PLUS – even a live performance by Lucas Gazianis, jazz pianist and member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra.

It was a long exciting weekend! The rain held off for the most part of the show and sale – and the Old Greenwich community and artists came together for a delightful two days!

One of the ASOG members, Daisy De Puthod – an oil painter, even traveled from Hopewell Junction NY to participate in this event!

In conjunction with the adults exhibiting, there was also a children’s art show (up to age 17), in which the participants were given prizes and had an opportunity to display their work! So amazing to see what the vin=brant and imaginative hands and minds of the talented younger members of our cultural community devised!
