Spring was in the air as the 44th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade in Greenwich was held on March 18!
It's long been said that there are 40 shades of green in Ireland - but we're almost certain we counted a few additional versions of the holiday color in the sea of people (and even dressed up pets) watching the parade pass by!
The event kicked off at 2pm with Mary Patricia Wilson - a lifelong Greenwich resident - as Grand Marshall of the festivities.
We saw Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes and State Senator Richard Blumenthal strolling in the parade - along with police, local Boy Scout + Girl Scout troops, bagpipe bands, multiple marching bands. Irish step dancers, and so much more!
Were you, or your friends, in the crowd?
Take a look at our photos from the event and see who you recognize?
