Thursday on Greenwich Avenue, the summer sunshine was hot…but the deals being offered by local merchants for the the 2019 Greenwich Sidewalk Sale Days were even hotter! Color. Activity. And HUGE discounts in every direction!
For those of you who may be new to the area, the Sidewalk Sales are an annual tradition organized by the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce – and the most highly anticipated shopping extravaganza of the year!
For 2019, over 110 retail stores along (and nearby) Greenwich Avenue offering their BEST once-in-a-year deals on clothing, jewelry, accessories, gifts and more to the legions of regional shoppers making their way to (and braving the limited available parking available at) the ‘largest outdoor sales event in all of Connecticut’!
But it’s not ONLY about finding amazing deals – the annual Sidewalk Sales also represent an opportunity for the facets of this tight-knit community to connect, see and be seen, discover new stores and products, sample seasonally-inspired cuisine at local restaurants, experience some of the live musical entertainment, and enjoy some of the summer while this magical time of year is performing at it’s peak!

The Greenwich Sidewalk Sale Days will continue, rain or shine, through the weekend. Stores are open from 9 or 10 a.m. until 6 or 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, shoppers can visit from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
