Don't you love when the summer weather rolls around -- bringing with it another perfectly valid excuse to shop 'til you drop along Greenwich Avenue?
That's precisely why Greenwich shoppers enjoyed the long awaited and much anticipated annual Greenwich “Sidewalk Sale Days” event last week - sponsored by the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s edition of the popular shopping event saw enthusiastic participation from the local merchant community with a wide variety of over 110 vendors participating.
Many patrons arrived along the Avenue early in an attempt to try to beat the heat and dodge the occasional rain shower (AND improve their chance of getting the first look at some great bargains!)
For those who were looking for a little more than just great deals, there was also some delicious street food food and live music in the park in front of the Greenwich Board of Education building both Saturday (Quarter Moon band and JD Southard Band) and Sunday (BarbaraEntertains.com).
