That's Stephen Colbert with his mind blown, trying to imagine what it's like to be Olivia Hallisey, a junior at Greenwich High School who just happens to have won the 2015 Google Science Fair Grand Prize and a $50,000 college scholarship by developing a $25 Ebola test that can be done in 30 minutes, without any need for refrigeration. Current tests on the market that need to be refrigerated can cost $1,000 and take up to 12 hours to complete.

Hundreds of Greenwich residents turned out today for the annual Polar Bear Plunge at Tod's Point. And true to our town heritage, an enterprising neighbor took the opportunity to raise money for local charity Kids In Crisis. Despite the chilly weather, grey skies and icy cold Long Island Sound, the outpouring of support warmed hearts and raised spirits of all who attended.
