On a recent October evening, culinary enthusiasts and garlic aficionados gathered at Leicht Kitchen at 11 East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich for an exclusive cooking class led by Chef (and culinary teacher) Karen Sheer. In this delicious adventure titled "Cooking With Garlic," participants were in for a flavorful and aromatic experience. Leicht Kitchen, a state-of-the-art culinary space in Greenwich, played host to this gastronomic delight. It stands as the only teaching kitchen of its kind in Greenwich, and for one memorable evening, it transformed into a hub of culinary creativity. Chef Karen Sheer, the resident culinary expert, tantalized the taste buds of her eager students by crafting a luscious, four-course meal that showcased garlic in all its aromatic glory. What made this class particularly enticing was the exploration of garlic in its various forms – raw, sautéed, roasted, and as garlic confit.
