This summer we are taking our inspiration from traveling and looking at how we can bring some of what makes each destination so special home with us.
Last time we sailed along the French Riviera and were taken with the over the top vacation home of the Baroness Béatrice de Rothchild where gold guilded mirrors, luxe fabrics and ornately carved accent tables and chairs that fill the vast estate. As a palette cleanser, we love the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat where the look is classic coastal: crisp, clean, and white on white on white.
For the next stop on our travel tour, we head to Morocco.
First we venture to the city of Marrakesh, where the look is modern and mostly minimalist with a nod to a uniquely Middle Eastern glam.
Then we pass through the sea side villa of Essaouira, where the look is laid back eclectic with pared down rustic touches in calming neutrals.
