Her self-taught sketching and spacial planning skills stem from her dapper uncle, a talented architect in Massachusetts and Rome.

Marianne started building her skill set as the Merchandiser and Display Manager for Barneys New York in Westport, Connecticut. A two year hiatus as a merchandise coordinator for Calvin Klein would further hone her skill for creating spaces of visual beauty while balancing the relationship of fabrics, fixtures, furniture, lighting and finishes. Barneys New York asked her to return to oversee a talented group of display managers in the field as the company expanded nationwide. She directed floor and fixture layouts, window presentation and all interior visuals. BNY was a collection of creative geniuses and a world of inspiration all in one place.

Marianne's desire to move closer to home in Greenwich brought her to Waterworks, where she spent five years as Director of Merchandising for the growing, luxury purveyor of the finest fixtures, surfaces and merchandise for the bath.
