The 7th Annual Greenwich Holiday Stroll Weekend wrapped up today and was a win-win weekend for shoppers, merchants and those looking to ignite some holiday spirit.
Throughout the weekend, Greenwich was alive with fun, family oriented holiday events. Live holiday music entertainment was provided by no less than 12 musical groups throughout the 2-day event. Five gourmet food trucks offered everything from lobster rolls to specialty grilled cheese to the Dough Girls' fantastic pizza.
There was a live nativity hosted by the First United Methodist Church which featured a camel, donkey, llama, cow and five sheep.
Horse drawn carriage rides were available from Amogerone Crossway, down Greenwich Avenue to Richards and back.
Dan Bergin, Professional Ice Carver, showed his talent by sculpting a reindeer and an amazing toy soldier.
Although the Stroll is done, the Reindeer Festival and Santa's Workshop continue until December 24th. Please stop by McArdle's Florist and Garden Center to visit the live reindeer and take photos with Santa. With each purchase of a photo package or a wreath, $5 will be donated to Kids in Crisis.
