Greenwich Crew 2019 Summer Camp

Greenwich Crew is excited to offer their 2019 Summer Camps to athletes in 6th through 10th grade.

Athletes spend 3 hours a day learning the ins and outs of rowing while enjoying time on the water.

The enthusiastic Greenwich Crew staff focuses on the technical aspect of the sport while incorporating games, racing and fitness into each day.

No previous experience is necessary and, in fact, this is a great way to experience rowing for new and younger athletes.

Greenwich Crew is offering three, 2-week sessions - morning and afternoon.

Greenwich Crew June Development Program

The June Development program is open to rowers going into grades 7 through 10 with at least one season of rowing experience.

Over the course of this three-week session, athletes will gain exposure to or further their skills in the use of small sculling boats (singles, doubles, and quads) in order to develop some of the more nuanced aspects of their rowing stroke as an individual. They will also practice transferring those skills back into the bigger boats and applying those lessons to rowing in a team context.

If you are interested in a June Development session or have any questions, please reach out to coach Scott Branscomb to see if this program might be a good fit for you.

June 3rd-June 20th - Monday-Thursday

  • 1-2:30 PM
  • 3:30-5 PM
  • 5:15-6:45 PM

If you have any questions please contact Scott Branscomb

Greenwich Crew - The Rest of the Year

Greenwich Crew has become one of the top rowing programs in the United States.

Highlighted by Greenwich Crew’s recent success at the 2018 Youth National Championships where the program was well represented with six boats participating and the Women’s Lightweight Varsity Eight winning the gold medal and national title in its event!

Greenwich Crew offers a variety of programs year-round for both boys and girls in the 6th through 12th grades. Each program aims to support participants as they work toward their individual goals, whether an athlete has recreational or competitive ambitions, as well as foster the bonds between teammates that will last a lifetime!
