The Summer Program at Eagle Hill is designed for children experiencing academic difficulty. Open to boys and girls ages 5-14, the Summer Academic Program immerses children in an environment specifically tailored to meet his or her needs.
The Program is an educational extension of the philosophy and strategies for learning that are employed in their regular program. Classes are taught primarily by Eagle Hill faculty, learning is multi-sensory, class sizes are small, students are grouped according to skills rather than grade level, and there is a specific focus on finding innovative methods to encourage learning.
The Summer Afternoon Activities Program immerses young boys and girls in a fun and energetic midday program where group work, social skills, and fair play will be emphasized and reinforced. This program is only available to students enrolled in the Summer Academic Program.
An Afternoon Social Language Group, providing students with explicit instruction in social and emotional language concepts, while facilitating their social thinking and associated social skills development, is also available for an additional fee.
