Celebrate Local Conservation Heroes at Audubon Connecticut Experience Nature!

Come celebrate with the Audubon!

On Thursday April 26, 2018, Audubon Connecticut is hosting its annual environmental leadership award benefit honoring its 2018 “Champions of Conservation and the Environment”.

This year Audubon Connecticut Experience Nature! event is recognizing two renowned “conservation heroes” who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to our local environment - B. Holt Thrasher, recipient of the Audubon Connecticut’s Environmental Leadership Award, and Ted Gilman, recipient of the 2018 Katie O'Brien Lifetime Achievement Award.

Each of the evening’s honorees has dedicated themselves to preserving the beauty of the environment and encouraging the next generation to admire, respect, and preserve the great outdoors for years to come.

This year, Audubon Connecticut Experience Nature! is being hosted by notable Greenwich-area resident, producer, director and writer Rob Burnett. You may recognize the name of this five-time Emmy award winner from his work as the executive producer of Late Show with David Letterman - as well as the popular Netflix Original film he recently wrote and directed, The Fundamentals of Caring, starring Selena Gomez, Craig Roberts, and Paul Rudd.

The events of the evening will be capped off by a one of a kind 'Experiences Auction' orchestrated by auctioneer extraordinaire, Lydia Fenet of Christie’s Auction House in New York.

Audubon Connecticut's Experience Nature! event is being hosted Thursday April 26, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the beautiful Belle Haven Club in Greenwich, CT.
