Many of us head into the Thanksgiving holiday with dreams of comfort food filling our heads and decide to put our exercise regimen on pause while we enjoy the most anticipated meal on the American calendar, and the left-overs, and then the sweets and treats that the Christmas season brings with it, and the catered Christmas parties, and the...well, you get the picture!
Then we wake up on New Year's Day and the first thing we think about is all of the turkey, stuffing, candy canes, sugar plums -- and those tough resolutions we now need to embrace to get our fitness games back on track :-)
Then there are the forward thinking among us who see all of those calories coming down the pike and decide to take pre-emptive action!
What better way to burn off the excess 'Holiday Cheer' than to join your friends and neighbors at one of our favorite Turkey Trot runs?
