The weather was beautiful in Sarasota, Florida, setting the stage for a phenomenal weekend of rowing. From Thursday to Sunday, the premier high school rowing programs around the country competed for a national championship in a variety of events.

Over four days at the Championship regatta, approximately 2500 athletes representing some 181 teams from across the nation competed for the national title in 26 different events. Once again, the Greenwich Crew Team came through in a big way!

For the first time in program history, the Greenwich Men’s team took home a gold medal with the Men’s 4- emerging victorious, proving to be the fastest in a field of 28 boats.
