Welcome to the 3rd Annual Living Greenwich Summer Activities Guide - a powerful resource for Greenwich-area parents seeking in-depth information on some of the best summer camps and programs available for their children.
The summer months are an important time in the lives of our children. For parents who have planned ahead, these sunshine and warm breeze days represent an amazing opportunity to arrange for structured summer experiences certain to change the lives of our children in exceedingly powerful ways.
Summer camps help young people discover and explore their talents, interests, and values - while often offering them a change of scenery (even if only for a few hours a day), keeping them physically active, and creating scenarios where children are encouraged to unplug and enjoy the natural world and relationship around them. These are just a few of the reasons why summer camps and programs position our children to thrive - and there are many, many more!
Where to begin? You'll notice that our annual guide runs the gamut from nearby day camps to out-of-state sleepaway camps - and also shines the light on a diverse array of camp and program categories: Educational/Academic, Multi-Discipline, Sports, and Traditional Day Camps. For your browsing convenience, we've taken the liberty of assigning each participant in our guide to a primary category - but since many of these programs offer a variety of activities and recreational opportunities to their attendees, we strongly suggest taking the time to read the full details for each camp to get a even more informed sense as to the actual spectrum of specialties and amenities furnished by each listing.
Without further ado, here's our 2018 selection of Summer Camps and Programs that will amuse, entertain, educate, and inspire your children while simultaneously generating new friendships, opportunities, and smiles for them all along the way!
